Day 12

Today I woke for my 8 am 10 minutes befor it stated. Luckily it's litterly in the room below were I sleep so I hoped out of bed and threw on my overalls. As I started to get ready for my clay class I relished how spoiled I am at App State. Here we have 6 wheels maybe no Sodium silicate, 10 bats no splash pans and no bat pins to hold on the bats. This may sound stupid but the few little things I just listed make throwing a hell of a lot easier when you have. Luckily we only have 4 girls in the class so space is better. As I try to throw out of my normal routine I struggle a bit it's crazy how you get set in your ways when your use to having stuff regularly available. As soon as I except that I am not going to be able to throw how I'm use to I look at what I have and try again. This time I've figured it out I can final throw. Getting dirty again was a great feeling I had missed playing with dirt. After class I went into town to buy some grocers from the market. I then grabbed some gelato and headed on home. The walk is a chore in itself but trying to carry groceries, eat gelato, and walk up a steep incline wasn't happening. I found a small stare case that overlooked the valley below Cortona here I sat and enjoyed my hazelnut and coffee gelato. Once I made it back I made chicken egg salad for lunch. It was tasty... But I really think I have a food hoarding problem.  I have enough food but keep having new ideas of what to cook so I keep shopping. We'll now I have like 3 pepared meals and there will be nomore shopping for food till I eat every last bit. Soooo I decide to eat one of my plums, we'll let me tell you something you should always cut up your fruit insted of just biting into it. I took a nice juice bite of my plum and was psyched it was so good. Then I pulled out the seed. When I did this I saw a brown section that kinda looked like carmalized Syrup inside. We'll last week me and Will made a peach pie and one of the peaches had this same look not knowing what it is Will made a fabulous call of throwing it away. Me being interested and remembering that moment before decided to pull open the other half. Well when I did I saw a grubby little grub squirming its way towards me. I instantly chucked it into the trash and felt my gag reflex kick in. So as I will say again. Always Cut Up Your Fruit..... On the other hand as Amy pointed out to me, you know it's fresh and hadent been run threw a chemical cleaning. Blehhhhhhh. After my traumatic plum experience I took a nap then decided to go pick some figs very carefully checking inside for bugs and then layed out in the olive grove on a large stone table and wrote in my journal.  Later on went to Toninos for dinner and got to skype a good old friend Joe.
Haha I look like the happy photo bomber in the background
